The Dracast X Series is expanding! Now, there's the new DRX240RGBBC On-Camera LED Video Light. It's small, compact, and great for high-output single-source portable on-camera lighting. You can also use it as fill or accent lighting on a light stand. This light can be controlled via the DRX app for iOS and Android, either individually or in groups. Measuring 7” by 5”, it has 84 color-changing, full-spectrum SMD LEDs and 160 variable CCT white SMD LEDs. It consumes 15W and outputs up to 419 lux at 1 meter. It comes with a single NP-F battery plate, a digital display, and a 1/4 - 20 threaded mounting point. You can operate it in variable CCT or full-spectrum RGB mode. There are also lots of special effects like paparazzi, fireworks, etc. It has gel presets for quick color settings, available in the app too. With the app, you can control dimmer, CCT, RGB, HSI, and special effects. It can be dimmed from 0% - 100% smoothly. It uses an NP-F battery plate for maximum portability (batteries and charger sold separately). You can adjust the color temperature from 2800K - 6500K. It offers full spectrum RGB with millions of color options. The light comes with built-in soft diffusion filters. Using your Dracast DRX240RGBBC On-Camera LED Video Light is a breeze. First, if you're using the battery, insert the NP-F style 6600 mAh li-ion battery into the battery plate. You can also connect it to the AC power adapter. To turn on the light, use the onboard control knobs. You can adjust the brightness from 0% to 100% smoothly, either manually with the knobs or via the DRX app on your iOS or Android device. For color temperature, you can set it anywhere between 2800K and 6500K to match your shooting environment. If you want to add some color, switch to the full-spectrum RGB mode. There are millions of color options available, and you can use the preset color gels in the app or on the light for quick settings. There are also lots of special effects like strobe, fireworks, and paparazzi. You can control these effects manually, via DMX, or with the app. When mounting the light, you can use the cold shoe mount on your camera or the 1/4 - 20 threaded mounting point to attach it to a light stand (sold separately). Just make sure it's securely fastened. As for maintenance, keep the light clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or moisture. When not in use, store it in a safe place. The battery charger should be used as per the instructions, and the battery should be charged properly to ensure its longevity.
