The Kramer C-D9F/OPEN-6 is a top-notch 6-feet control cable designed for RS-232 applications in professional AV systems. Many Kramer products can be controlled via RS-232 and come with a terminal block connector. This cable ensures a safe connection, transmitting RS-232 serial commands to touch-screen systems, PCs, or other serial controllers with a D9 connector. It's built with high-quality materials, using three 28AWG isolated conductors. One end features a molded female 9-pin D-sub connector with nickel plating, while the other end is open and non-terminated. Using the Kramer C-D9F/OPEN-6 cable is easy. First, identify the device with a terminal block connector and the device with a D9 connector. Connect the nickel-plated molded female 9-pin D-sub connector to the device with the D9 connector. Then, connect the open end to the device with the terminal block connector. Make sure the wires are properly secured. When handling the cable, avoid bending it too sharply as it may damage the internal conductors. Also, keep it away from sources of extreme heat or moisture.
