Product Description

In today's tech - driven world, IT is integrating various types of content like Audio/Video and power. However, what works well for IT may not be ideal for A/V and Power. A big issue is the reduction of copper in Category Cable patch cords. IT trends towards smaller conductors, like 28 AWG, for higher density in patchbays and racks. Most standard Shielded Cat6A patch cables are 26 AWG, but this causes failures in A/V and PoE/HDBaseT links due to high voltage attenuation and poor power delivery. Liberty's new patch cable line is the solution. It uses true 24 AWG conductors in all lines, reducing attenuation and ensuring better power delivery. This means it can support HDBaseT, Power, Audio, and Video over IP without problems. Other great features include molded boots for better strength and durability and a snagless latch design. The cable has 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors, 4 twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk, an unshielded U/UTP format, a flame - rated PVC jacket in 6 colors, and molded snagless strain - relief boots for extra support.

Using your Liberty AV Category 5E patch cable is a breeze. First, simply plug one end of the cable into your device, like a computer or router, and the other end into the corresponding port on the other device. This will establish a stable connection for your network, audio, video, or power needs. When handling the cable, be gentle to avoid bending it too sharply, as this could damage the internal conductors. Also, don't pull on the cable too hard when unplugging it; instead, hold the connector firmly and pull straight out. For maintenance, keep the cable away from sharp objects and extreme temperatures. You can clean the cable with a soft, dry cloth if it gets dirty. If you notice any damage to the cable, like a cut in the jacket or a bent connector, it's best to replace it to ensure optimal performance.
