Product Description

The Laird LCR-CAT6AXTRM100 Shattuc SCD6AT CAT6A Tactical Cable Reel is a game-changer. Part of Laird's Extreme Series, these tactical-grade Category 6A Ethernet cables are the backbone for Video Over IP cable infrastructure in ST-2022, HDBaseT, HDBitT, DANTE, AES67 and similar setups. They easily meet the high demands of HD video and Digital Audio IP packetization bandwidth. Crafted with Shattuc Tactical heavy-duty Indoor/Outdoor Category 6A Data cable, these reels are tough as nails. Ideal for mobile production companies or harsh environment venues, whether for data, lighting control, digital audio snakes or HD Video. These cables go beyond the ANSI/TIA-568-B.2-10 Category 6A standard. Key features include shielded cable for screened Industrial Ethernet/IP, suitability for data, lighting control and HD Video, UL approval for sunlight resistance and direct burial, meeting the IEEE 1202 Flame Test, lockable and outdoor-protected Neutrik etherCON TOP Connectors, and being loaded on a premium reel for easy cable management. Technical specs: Shattuc Data-X 4-Pair CAT6A 24AWG, suitable for Class 1, Div 1 Hazardous Locations, NEC (UL) type CMX outdoor - CM and CEC C(UL) type CMX outdoor - CM, max voltage of 300V, and terminated with Neutrik etherCON RJ45 TOP Connectors.

Using this cable reel is a breeze. First, find a suitable location for the reel, whether indoors or outdoors as it's designed for both. Unlock the Neutrik etherCON TOP Connectors and start unwinding the cable to the desired length. Connect the cable to your devices, like routers, cameras or audio equipment for data, lighting control or HD video needs. When you're done, carefully wind the cable back onto the reel and lock the connectors to protect them. For maintenance, keep the cable clean. If it gets dirty, use a dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe it. Avoid exposing the cable to extreme temperatures or sharp objects that could damage it. Also, check the connectors regularly for any signs of wear and tear. If you're using it in a hazardous location, make sure it meets all the safety requirements of that area.
