Product Description

In today's tech world, IT is integrating all sorts of content, like Audio/Video and power. But what works for IT doesn't always work for A/V and power. A big problem is the use of thinner copper in Category Cable patch cords. IT is going for smaller sizes, using 28 AWG conductors for smaller diameters and higher density in patchbays and racks. Most manufacturers' standard Shielded Cat6A patch cables are 26 AWG, which has led to failures in A/V and PoE/HDBaseT links because of high voltage attenuation and poor power delivery. Liberty's new patch cable line is here to solve these issues. It's designed to support HDBaseT, power, and Audio/Video over IP. Using true 24 AWG conductors for all lines, these cables offer less attenuation and better power delivery, preventing problems before they start. Other great features include molded boots for better strength and durability and a snagless latch design. Key features: 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors, 4 twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk, U/UTP format with unshielded pairs and no overall shield, a flame-rated PVC jacket in 6 colors, and molded snagless strain relief boots for extra support.

Using your Liberty AV Category 5E patch cable is easy. Just plug one end into your device, like a computer or router, and the other end into the corresponding port on the other device. Make sure the connections are secure to ensure a stable signal. When handling the cable, be gentle to avoid damaging the conductors or the jacket. Avoid bending the cable sharply or pulling it too hard. For maintenance, keep the cable clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. If the cable gets dirty, you can use a mild cleaning solution, but make sure to dry it thoroughly afterward. Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent damage from moisture or extreme temperatures.
