Product Description

The Liberty AV 152G5U9003 is a high - quality 3 - foot white Category 5E patch cable. In today's IT world, it's common for it to integrate various content types like Audio/Video and power. However, what suits IT may not be ideal for A/V and power. For instance, the trend in IT is to use smaller conductors, like 28 AWG, for higher density. But this has led to failures in A/V and PoE/HDBaseT links due to high voltage attenuation. Liberty's new patch cable line is here to solve these problems. It supports HDBaseT, power, and Audio/Video over IP. By using true 24 AWG conductors, it reduces attenuation and delivers power better. The new Cat5E, Cat6, and Cat6A cables are designed to prevent issues before they occur. Other great features include molded boots for better strength and durability, and a snagless latch design. Key features of this cable are 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors, 4 twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk, a U/UTP format with unshielded pairs and no overall shield, a flame - rated PVC jacket available in 6 colors, and molded snagless strain - relief boots for added support.

Using this Liberty AV patch cable is quite easy. First, find the devices you want to connect, like your router and computer. Simply plug one end of the cable into the appropriate port on one device and the other end into the corresponding port on the second device. Make sure the connection is secure to avoid any signal loss. When it comes to maintenance, keep the cable away from sharp objects that could cut or damage the jacket. Also, try to avoid bending the cable sharply, as this can affect the conductors inside. If the cable gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. In case of long - term storage, coil the cable loosely and store it in a cool, dry place. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this may degrade the cable's performance over time.
