First, connect your PoE-compatible devices like wireless access points, VoIP phones, or IP cameras to the eight Gigabit Ethernet ports. If you need to connect it to other network equipment, use the two RJ45 uplink ports. The switch will automatically detect the optimal network speed for each device. You can also use the manual PoE extend mode if you want to extend the PoE support to 250 m, but keep in mind that it will reduce the network speed. The manual VLAN mode allows you to isolate ports 1 through 8 from each other. When it comes to maintenance, make sure the cooling fan is working properly to keep the switch cool.
