Product Description

The Tripp-Lite NPOE-30W-1G Gigabit PoE+ Midspan Active Injector is a game-changer. It allows you to add PoE devices like surveillance cameras, wireless access points, or VoIP phones to your home or office network, even if your switch lacks PoE support. No need for an expensive PoE switch upgrade. This single-port injector sends 30 watts of power and Gigabit Ethernet data via existing Cat5e/6/6a cables, saving you time and money on unnecessary equipment updates. It can expand your wireless network up to 328 ft, reaching places without AC power outlets. With a simple plug-and-play installation, you can have your device connected in minutes. The compact, hand-sized black plastic housing can be easily mounted anywhere, and its fanless design ensures silent operation. Ideal for adding security cameras, touchscreen kiosks, or filling Wi-Fi dead spots. Key features include cost savings, support for Gigabit speeds, easy installation, and protection against short circuits and power surges. It meets various IEEE standards and is certified to CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH. Comes with a 3-year limited warranty.

Using the Tripp-Lite NPOE-30W-1G is a breeze. First, connect your network switch or jack to the shielded RJ45 Data port using an existing Cat5e/6/6a cable. Then, connect your PoE device to the shielded RJ45 Power + Data port with the same type of cable. Next, use the included power cord to connect the unit's C14 inlet to a NEMA 5-15R outlet. Once you see the LEDs light up, it means the unit is getting power and ready to transfer data. When it comes to installation, you can use the mounting holes to attach it to a shelf, desktop, or wall with your own hardware. Just make sure the surface is smooth. As for maintenance, keep it in a place where the temperature is between 32°F and 122°F and the relative humidity is between 10% and 90% (non - condensing). Avoid exposing it to power surges or short circuits, as it has built - in protection but it's better to be cautious. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use, with a temperature range of - 4°F to 176°F. And always refer to the owner's manual for more detailed information.
