Product Description

The Visual Productions QuadCore is an amazing compact lighting controller perfect for (semi - )permanent installations and architectural lighting. As part of the CueCore family, it's a top - choice for high - channel lighting projects like pixel mapping. With no moving parts, it's fully solid - state, offering outstanding reliability. You can simply install it and forget about it! First off, it's a powerful lighting controller. It can play back lighting shows, static scenes, and dynamic effects via its four DMX - 512 universes. With six independent playbacks, it can handle lighting in multiple areas and meet tough HTP/LTP needs. You can easily customize it to fit your client's wishes. You can record lighting shows designed on third - party consoles right inside the QuadCore. It helps you create seamless loops in your recordings, and you can record through DMX, Art - Net, or sACN. It communicates through a variety of protocols and allows you to program show - control automation. You can automate show playback, define triggers based on incoming protocols or scheduled times, and convert signals between protocols. Key features include 4 x DMX - 512 opto - isolated ports (bi - directional), Art - Net (in & out), sACN (in & out), KiNet (out), TCP (in), UDP & OSC (in & out), scheduling with a real - time clock, weekdays, and sunrise/sunset, NTP time synchronization, Art - Net timecode, show control function, master/slave protocol for syncing multiple units, compatibility with Kiosc, desktop or DIN Rail mounting, an optional 19” rackmount adapter, a Kensington lock, locked power cable protection, and PoE Class I.

Using the Visual Productions QuadCore lighting controller is quite straightforward. To start, decide on the installation method - you can choose desktop, DIN Rail, or use the optional 19” rackmount adapter. Make sure to lock the power cable for protection. When you want to control the lighting, you can use the six independent playbacks to manage different zones or meet specific HTP/LTP requirements. You can play back lighting shows, static scenes, and dynamic effects through the four DMX - 512 universes. To record lighting shows from third - party consoles, connect via DMX, Art - Net, or sACN. The controller has features to help you create seamless loops in your recordings. For show - control automation, you can set triggers based on incoming protocols, scheduled time, or day. You can also convert signals between different protocols. As for maintenance, since it's solid - state with no moving parts, it generally requires less maintenance. But make sure to keep it in a clean and dry environment. If you're using the NTP time synchronization feature, ensure a stable network connection. Also, don't forget to use the Kensington lock if you want to secure the device.
