Product Description

Simplify and tidy up your outdoor lighting setup with the IP65-rated Cool Cable DMX 3-pin PCT Combo Cables. These cables can replace separate power and DMX extensions with a single, neatly bundled cable. Available in various lengths, they come with 3-pin XLR connectors and can link the power and data of any equipment with DMX and powerCON TRUE1 connections. The power cable uses heavy-duty 14AWG wire and features locking powerCON-compatible input/output connectors. Although the power connectors are designed to be compatible with products from Neutrik AG and related entities, they are not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by them. Neutrik, powerCON, TRUE1, and etherCON are registered trademarks of Neutrik AG. Key features include IP65 rating for DMX signal/data, powerCON TRUE1 compatible connectors, double shielding, 2 conductors, 120 ohm impedance, low capacitance, high-quality true DMX cable, heavy-duty 14AWG wire, lockable 16A single-phase connector (20A in the USA), dust and water resistance, an easy and reliable twist-lock system, extreme robustness and reliability, and UL-approved recognized components.

Using this cable is straightforward. First, check that your equipment has DMX and powerCON TRUE1 connections. Then, simply connect the male end of the cable to the power source and the female end to your lighting fixture or other device. When connecting, make sure to use the twist-lock system to secure the connection and prevent it from coming loose. This cable is designed to be dust and water resistant, but it's still a good idea to keep it out of direct contact with excessive water. Avoid bending the cable sharply, as this could damage the internal conductors. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, such as frayed wires or loose connectors, stop using the cable immediately. For maintenance, just keep the cable clean and dry. You can wipe it down with a dry cloth if it gets dirty. And store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
