The Dracast X Series is expanding! Now with the new LED240 Bicolor On-Camera LED Video Light, it can be controlled via the DRX app for iOS and Android. This compact light is great for high-output portable on-camera use or as fill/accent lighting on a stand. It has the same features as other X Series fixtures and can be controlled individually or in groups. Measuring 7” by 5”, it has 96 variable CCT white SMD LEDs, consuming 16W with up to 419 lux at 1 meter. It comes with a single NP-F battery plate, a digital display, and a 1/4-20 threaded mounting point. Operate it in variable CCT or bicolor mode and enjoy a variety of built-in special effects like paparazzi and strobe. With the DRX app, you can control dimmer, CCT, and effects from your phone or tablet. It offers 0% - 100% smooth dimming, optional battery power for maximum portability, variable color temperature from 2800K - 6500K, and built-in soft diffusion. In the box: the light, cold shoe mount, diffusion filter, 6600 mAh li-ion battery pack, NP-F style battery charger, AC power adapter, NP-F battery plate (batteries and charger sold separately), and a 1-year warranty. Using your Dracast DRX240BBC X Series LED240 Bicolor On-Camera LED Video Light is easy. First, if you're using battery power, insert the NP-F style battery into the battery plate. You can also connect it to the AC power adapter. To control the light, you can use the onboard control knobs for quick adjustments like dimming from 0% - 100%. Or, download the DRX app for iOS or Android to control the light or groups of X Series lights from your phone or tablet. Adjust the color temperature from 2800K - 6500K to match your shooting environment. Try out the special effects like strobe or paparazzi for a unique look. When mounting the light, use the 1/4-20 threaded mounting point at the bottom of the hot shoe mount to attach it to a light stand or your camera. For maintenance, keep the light clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If the battery isn't holding a charge, it might be time to replace it. Remember, batteries and charger are sold separately, as are light stands.
