The Elation KL 8 is an outstanding 350W warm - white LED Fresnel. With a color temperature of 3,000K and a CRI of over 97, it delivers over 6,400 total lumens, comparable to tungsten halogen models. It offers both manual and DMX control, including a 12 - 36 wide motorized zoom. You can select smooth 16 - bit dimming curve modes, adjust the LED refresh rate and gamma brightness for flicker - free TV and film shooting. It comes with removable barn doors, supports the RDM protocol, and has 3/5pin DMX and powerCON in/out connections. There's a 4 - button and 2 - rotary dial control panel with an LCD menu display. Multiple units can be power - linked, and it has a universal auto - switching power supply (100 - 240v).
Using the Elation KL 8 is easy. First, connect it to a power source using the powerCON connection. Make sure the power supply voltage is within the 100 - 240v range. You can control the light manually through the 4 - button and 2 - rotary dial control panel, or use DMX control if you prefer. To adjust the zoom, set it between 12 and 36 degrees according to your needs. When shooting for TV or film, adjust the LED refresh rate and gamma brightness to avoid flicker.
