Using the Ikan Lyra soft light kit is easy. First, decide whether you want to use the battery plates or plug it in. If using the battery, attach either the V - mount or gold mount battery plate. If you prefer to plug it in, connect the power supply. Next, use the baby 1/8 inch or junior 1 - 1/8 combo pin to attach the light to the stand. Adjust the 30 - degree yoke to the angle you need and use the strong steel tension knobs to lock it in place. To control the light, use the large yellow control knob on the back.
