Product Description
Liberty AV's 152G5U6025 25-foot blue Category 5E patch cable is a game-changer. In today's IT world, it's common to see a shift towards smaller copper conductors in patch cords. But this trend can cause problems for A/V and PoE/HDBaseT links due to high voltage attenuation. Liberty's new patch cable line solves these issues. It uses true 24 AWG conductors for all lines, which means less attenuation and better power delivery. This helps prevent failures before they happen. The cable also features molded boots for better strength and durability, and a snagless latch design. Key features include 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors, 4 twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk, a U/UTP format with unshielded pairs, a flame-rated PVC jacket in 6 colors, and molded snagless strain relief boots for added support.
Using this Liberty AV Category 5E patch cable is easy. Just plug one end into your device and the other end into the corresponding port on your network equipment. When handling the cable, be gentle to avoid bending it too sharply as this could damage the internal conductors. Try to keep the cable away from sources of high heat or moisture, as these can affect its performance. For maintenance, you can use a dry cloth to wipe the cable clean if it gets dirty. If you notice any signs of damage like frayed wires or a broken latch, it's best to replace the cable to ensure reliable network connectivity.
