Using the Manfrotto 196B-2 is easy. First, attach the arm to a suitable surface using the 5/8' spigot with 1/4' thread, which is compatible with Superclamp. Then, adjust the swivelling sections of the arm according to your needs and lock them in place. The sliding extension allows you to position the camera bracket exactly where you want it. When attaching the camera to the removable 143BKT camera bracket, make sure it's secure. Be careful not to exceed the payload capacity of 1Kg (2.2 lb) at full extension. To keep your arm in good condition, wipe it clean with a dry cloth after use. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. If you notice any parts are loose or damaged, stop using it and get it repaired or replaced.
