Product Description

The PX249 is a state-of-the-art audio player that replaces the PX154 MP3 player. It offers direct control or can be managed via any DMX-512 standard driver. This versatile player can work with DMX devices in 4, 5, 7, or 8 channel modes, making it a great addition to your audio setup. With firmware version 1.18, SD/SDHC memory cards can store up to 255 *.wav tracks, limited only by the card's capacity. You can create up to 9 playlists with 85 or 255 tracks each, allowing for a massive playback of 765 or 2295 tracks. Using DMX control, you can easily play, select songs, choose playlists, loop tracks, or play randomly. It also has smooth volume control, bass, treble, and balance adjustment. You can connect an external START button. The device's menu lets you set its behavior when there's no DMX signal. It comes in a housing designed for 35mm DIN buses. Key features include being an upgraded DMX audio player, compatibility with DMX-512 drivers, multi - channel operation, SD/SDHC support, playlist creation, and advanced playback controls. Technical specs include various DMX channels, WAV file support, multiple sampling frequencies, a power bandwidth of 42Hz - 21kHz, terminal block output connectors, 20dB voltage gain, 2 x 12W max midband power, 4 or 8 Ohm load impedance, 12 - 24V DC power supply, max 32W power consumption, and dimensions of 105 (6 DIN rail modules) x 86 x 60 mm.

Using the PX249 is a breeze. First, make sure you have a compatible SD/SDHC memory card. Format it if needed and load your *.wav tracks onto it. Insert the card into the player. You can control the player directly or connect it to a DMX - 512 standard driver. Once connected, use the DMX control to play songs, select playlists, or adjust the settings. To create playlists, access the device's menu. You can make up to 9 playlists with different numbers of tracks. For volume, bass, treble, and balance control, use the DMX interface. You can also connect an external START button for easy operation. When there's no DMX signal, you can set how the player behaves in the menu. Remember, the number of tracks you can store depends on the capacity of your memory card. For maintenance, keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you need to update the firmware, follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
