Using the Ubiquiti INS - 3AF - i - G Instant Indoor PoE Converter is easy. First, connect the device to your Ubiquiti PoE device. You'll find two GbE RJ45 ports: one for PoE input and one for PoE output. Plug in the power supply, which requires 48V DC and 0.5A. This converter will then convert the power to 24V passive PoE for your device. When using it, make sure to keep it in an indoor environment, as it's designed for indoor use only. The operating temperature should be between 0 to 70° C (32 to 158° F). Avoid exposing it to extreme heat or cold. For maintenance, keep it clean and dust - free. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it down if needed. If you notice any issues with the power conversion or surge protection, check the connections first.
