Application Requirements

UniFi Network: Version 8.0.24 and later

Using the Ubiquiti Switch Pro Max 48 is straightforward. First, find a suitable location for the switch. Make sure the ambient temperature is between -5 and 40° C and the humidity is between 10 to 90% non - condensing. You can connect the switch to the power supply using either the universal 100 - 240V AC input or the USP - RPS DC input. Once powered on, use the 1.3' touchscreen to configure the settings. You can easily set up Layer 2 and Layer 3 features as needed. For port identification, take advantage of the Etherlighting™ feature. When connecting devices, use the 48 ports available, including the 16 1/2.5 GbE and 32 GbE RJ45 ports, and the four 10G SFP+ uplinks. Keep in mind that the UniFi Network version should be 8.0.24 or later. As for maintenance, regularly check the switch for any signs of overheating or unusual noises. Make sure the ventilation is not blocked. If you need to reset the switch to its factory settings, simply press the factory reset button. And always ensure that the power supply is stable to avoid any damage to the switch.
