Product Description

The Visual Productions CueCore2 is a highly reliable, compact lighting controller perfect for (semi-)permanent installations and architectural lighting. With no moving parts, it's built for non-stop operation, so you can install it and forget about it. Bundled with useful software tools, it can operate independently after programming. It plays back lighting shows, static scenes, and dynamic effects through two DMX-512 universes. It can be programmed to respond to various protocols or scheduled by time or day. As a lighting controller, it has six independent playbacks to handle multi - zone lighting and meet HTP/LTP requirements. It can record shows from third - party consoles via DMX, Art - Net, or sACN, and helps create seamless loops. It supports a wide range of protocols, from lighting ones like DMX - 512, Art - Net, sACN, and KiNet to non - lighting ones such as GPI, MIDI, UDP, TCP, and OSC, and even timecode protocols like SMPTE and MTC. Its show - control automation can be customized to automate playback, define triggers, and convert signals between protocols. Key features include 2 x DMX - 512 opto - isolated ports, support for multiple protocols, on - board lighting control with 6 playbacks, show recording capabilities, scheduling, time synchronization, and more. It can be desktop or DIN Rail mounted, and comes with a Kensington lock and PoE support.

Using the CueCore2 is quite straightforward. First, install it either on a desktop or using the DIN Rail mounting option. Make sure to secure it with the Kensington lock if needed. After installation, connect it to your lighting setup using the appropriate ports like DMX - 512, Art - Net, or sACN. Program it according to your lighting needs, either by creating your own shows or recording from an external DMX source. You can use the six independent playbacks to control different lighting zones. When programming, you can set it to respond to various protocols or schedule it for specific times. For maintenance, keep it in a clean and dry environment. Since it has no moving parts, there's not much mechanical maintenance required. However, regularly check the connections to ensure they are secure. If you're using it in a networked environment, make sure the NTP time synchronization is working properly for accurate scheduling. Also, be aware that different protocols may have different compatibility requirements, so test your setup thoroughly before a big event.
