Product Description

The Visual Productions TimeCore is a super - handy and compact device. It's your all - in - one solution for all timecode tasks. It can generate stable timecode signals as a master or follow existing ones as a slave. The large LED display gives you a real - time look at the current timecode frame. It supports multiple timecode protocols like SMPTE (LTC), MTC, and Ethernet - based Art - Net, and can convert between them and different frame - rates. With its Ethernet port, you can access the internal web - server to fully configure the device. It also supports various show control protocols such as UDP, TCP, OSC, and MIDI, and can interact with lighting desks using languages like Art - Net and sACN. Key features include being a timecode master, slave, and converter, a timecode display, 2 user - definable push - buttons, and compatibility with Kiosc. It can be desktop or DIN Rail mounted and has PoE Class I.

Using the TimeCore is easy. First, decide if you want it to be a timecode master or slave. To set it as a master, configure the device through the web - interface accessible via the Ethernet port. As a master, it will generate a stable timecode signal. If you choose the slave mode, it will follow an existing timecode. The large LED display will show you the current timecode frame in real - time. When it comes to timecode conversion, just select the input and output protocols you need on the web - interface. The TimeCore can handle SMPTE (LTC), MTC, and Art - Net, and convert between different frame - rates. For show control, use the supported protocols like UDP, TCP, OSC, and MIDI. Any messages received from these can start, stop, or manipulate the timecode. To interact with lighting desks, use the Art - Net and sACN capabilities. Regarding maintenance, keep the device in a clean and dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you need to clean it, use a soft, dry cloth. Don't try to open the device yourself as it may void the warranty. Also, make sure the power supply meets the PoE Class I requirements.
