The Accu Cable AC5PTRUE25 is an excellent IP65-rated combo cable. It's 25 feet long and combines 5-pin DMX and locking power link functions. Ideal for both temporary outdoor and indoor use. This cable offers a convenient way to daisy chain power and link data between lighting fixtures. It has male to female locking power connections and 5-pin male to female DMX connections. All connectors feature a rubber ring for an IP65 seal, protecting fixture sockets from moisture and dust. Key features include an IP65 power lock and DMX data combo link, IP65 DMX connectors (which must be linked with IP65 DMX cables/connectors for a full IP65 seal), a PVC jacket, specific copper wiring, HDPE material, and a braided TC shield.
Using this cable is easy. First, connect the male locking power connector of the cable to the power source of your lighting fixture. Then, connect the female end to the next fixture. For the DMX connection, do the same with the 5 - pin male and female connectors to link the data between fixtures. When using outdoors, make sure all the IP65 connectors are properly sealed to protect from moisture and dust. It's only for temporary use, so don't leave it outside for long - term. To maintain the cable, keep it clean and dry. If it gets dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it. Avoid bending the cable sharply as it may damage the internal wiring.
