Product Description

Introducing the LightCaster W-DMX 2.4 GHz wireless DMX system. A common setup includes a Lightcaster WDMX Transceiver for signal transmission and at least one LightCaster W-DMX Receiver for signal reception. With this system, users can enjoy an excellent wireless range of up to 500 meters (line-of-sight) for all DMX512 compliant equipment. Thanks to its built-in FHSS technology (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum), you don't have to worry about signal loss. Key features include a one-button operation 2.4Ghz W-DMX wireless system, W-DMX G5 Protocol (backward compatible with G4S/G3), compatibility with all DMX512 compliant equipment, FHSS technology, powerCON compatible power input, and an integrated clamp for mounting to 2' truss. Technical specifications: Receiver sensitivity is 98dBm, max operating range is 500 meters (line-of-sight), latency is less than 5mS, antenna type is 2dBi, and there's 1 universe per transmitter with a max of 16.

Using the LightCaster W-DMX 2.4 GHz wireless DMX system is easy. First, set up the Lightcaster WDMX Transceiver and the LightCaster W-DMX Receiver. Make sure they are connected to the power source using the powerCON compatible input. Then, turn on the system with the one-button operation. You can start using it with any DMX512 compliant equipment within a 500 - meter line - of - sight range. Remember, due to the FHSS technology, the signal is stable, but try to avoid using it in extremely crowded wireless environments. For maintenance, keep the equipment clean and dry. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a cool and dry place. Also, check the power input regularly to ensure it's working properly.
