Product Description

The Liberty AV 152G5U9010 Category 5E patch cable is a game - changer. In today's IT world, it's common to integrate audio, video, and power. But what works for IT doesn't always work for A/V and power. For instance, many IT cables use thinner copper wires like 28 AWG for smaller sizes and higher density. However, this causes issues in A/V and PoE/HDBaseT links due to high voltage attenuation. Liberty's new patch cable line is here to solve these problems. It uses true 24 AWG conductors across all lines, which means less attenuation and better power delivery. This cable is great for HDBaseT, power, and audio/video over IP. Other great features include molded boots for better strength and durability, and a snagless latch design. Key features of this 10 - foot white cable are: 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors, 4 twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk, U/UTP format with unshielded pairs and no overall shield, a flame - rated PVC jacket available in 6 colors, and molded snagless strain - relief boots for better support.

Using this Liberty AV Category 5E patch cable is easy. Just connect one end to your device and the other end to the appropriate port on your router, switch, or other network equipment. When connecting, make sure the latch on the connector clicks into place to ensure a secure connection. As for maintenance, keep the cable away from sharp objects that could cut the jacket. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid bending the cable too sharply, as this can damage the internal conductors. Also, store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use to extend its lifespan.
