The American DJ FS-1000 is an amazing and budget - friendly followspot. It features a newly designed reflector that can generate as much or even more light than a 1,000W lamp, thanks to its 575W bright halogen lamp. Using the American DJ FS - 1000 Followspot is easy. First, make sure it's connected to a 120V power source. You can use the hanging bracket to mount it in the desired location. If you want to use it on a stand, you'll need to buy a tripod stand separately. When using the new iris design, you can take advantage of the blackout feature as needed. Keep in mind that the lamp is a 575W halogen lamp. To maintain the followspot, clean the extruded aluminum casing regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials as they may scratch the casing. If the lamp burns out, replace it with a ZB - HX600, 120V 575W Halogen lamp.
